Partito Pirata

Power Pirate

The Pirate Party takes hold after the exploits of European elections in Sweden (+7.1% and an elected candidate) and after the German policies that led to a 13% (almost one million votes) in other European countries are ready registered parties and independent lists. The growing threat of Internet-obscure laws seems to have given the charge to a party that officially does not exist in Italy, perhaps because the image is perceived as a manifest illegality. In the beautiful country, in addition, broadband penetration is still low, as is clear from the survey published by Istat ( Istat survey ) and then a low level of Internet in everyday life. The attempt to "regulate" the network does not worry too much though the four bills introduced in the last years digital undermine the rights of the Italians. Sweden already 50 thousand subscribers to the Pirat Partiet point of reference for the other teams in Europe, following the political program developed in 2006 in three points:

- Limited to 5 years for commercial purposes of copyright and freedom to copy for private use;

- Reform of legislation on patents;

- To safeguard your privacy online.
